Wow so fast...after NY now it is Cny. I think it is a process of growing up where the mere mention of these festivities no longer ignite any sense of happiness within me, except for the mere respite from the hectic work life. For that i am thankful for such festivities.
No longer do i feel a need to rush around looking for CNY clothes... shoes... or whatever new things in order to usher in the new year. I buy things when i feel like it or when there is something nice and worth it. Well even buying is beginning to feel like a chore to me. So many friggin people jostling about getting to the fitting room is such a pain, then comes the paying part. Also need to wait and queue for my turn. But i think that is a SG problem, there is just no more space for the increasing population. Even there is, there is not enough time to educate these people about good manners. Honestly even the government feels the same way. haha...how sad.
Wish i can escape from Singapore and go to somewhere nice and stay there. Away from this crowded and polluted country, away from everyone caught up in their own lives...
Been reading blogs and seeing so many lovely piccies of my frens making a point to travel all over the world while they are still young. Yet yours truly had never really went beyond Japan or Australia? A world so vast and wide, can i ever really finished it? I doubt so...be glad to just see the piccies through internet. Northern lights...Alaska... Caribbean Sea....Tuscany.... Swiss Alps...Athens??? Wah....list is endless... How i dream and wonder.......
One more thing before i end. Me and V just got a Canon IXUS 75 Digicam for a steal @ $499. Freebies include 2x 2G memory card, 1x original Canon battery, 1x travel case, 1x leather pouch, 1x non-stick screen protector. Sooo happy ...now we can take piccies whenever we want to. Pity V ain't around.
