Spring cleaning...

Wah...new look. Not bad right??? well not as good as i want it to be. But hey for a technology laggard like me...well not bad. So no complains...

Anyway, Pink is a tad unlike me but there wasn't any red. So this was the closest one i could find. In addition, added countdown ticker (abit seng eh/ distorted) to my ROM which is probably the biggest thing happening in my life now.

What else is happening?

1) Bought aircon for my parents
2) Confirm the caterer for the ROM
3) Confirm my MUA
4) Confirm my BS
5) Got my on-off swollen eye checked out
6) TBA when i can think of....

Well totally clueless supposed post. Been almost a month since the last post in May. Prior to that I had a few things happening. With our new house just firmed in May, so June I had to source for bridal studio and also go for my company incentive trip to TOKYO. YES you saw it correctly – T O K Y O!!!!woooohooo….land of the rising sun man!!!

Pictures are mainly in office now, so will upload a few when I get a chance in between work.

Can’t say that I managed to do all things that I want in Tokyo, but I guess within the given time – good enough. Wish I could have stayed one more day, wonder when will I go back there again. Think I like to travel alone, least I derive more satisfaction traveling by myself. Am I a loner? Am I an anti-social? Maybe I am or perhaps I just had not find a like-minded soul?

Post proposal preps...VNA lovenest...

What it should have been on May 21, 07...

Wow, been awhile since my last happy posts about my proposal. Been almost 3 months, since my dear V had proposed to me at the lovely pool of Krabi. So much and so little had happened since, that I do not even know where to start.

Anyway let me just say how happy I am that the members of the HAI group all got proposed shortly after me. So happy that all of them all said YES to their respective other halves. I mean isn’t it fabulous that you have all your good buddies getting married around the same time. I feel so blessed suddenly to have all these great friends around me.

Since the beaches of Krabi till date, we had started looking for flats, set the date for ROM (September 15, 2007), sourced for bridal studios, so many things so little time suddenly…

As of last Friday- 18 May, we finally found our love nest right in Admiralty. Address – Blk 787C, Woodlands Crescent, #05-48, Singapore 733787. We managed to get it at valuation – meaning no extra cash needed. Value of the 122sqm house is at $270k, and everything will be paid through our CPF. So next step, will be sourcing for Bridal Studio.

Looking at my situation of having 2 wedding receptions, I will be doing in JB. Can save costs and yet the effect is about the same if not better. Only thing is that it will be a hassle traveling up and down for the fittings.

Woah…taking a breather this weekend was soooo good. Finally no more tedious house hunting. I can look forward to my company TOKYO trip on the 30 May. Yipppeeeee…. And of coz that looming Athens trip that I wish I can take.

Well anyway …that is the update for now. Would like to continue relaxing and get ready for the dreaded Monday.

Well been long overdue. Almost a month since V proposed to me in Krabi. Back to reality and work, still think about the lovely times we had there. There was some depressed moments post-trip!





Nevertheless, now we need to get back on track and start preparing for THE WEDDING which is sooooo stressful.

Back from Krabi- Mr and Mrs NG...

JUST BACK FROM MY KRABI trip with my darling V. Or should i say ahem...my Husband to BE!?? Yes proud to say i am going to be mrs NG!

V took our holiday trip/ my birthday gift as an excuse to propose to me. Throughout the trip he was very sweet to me, though he is ALWAYS very sweet to me. Well maybe MORE sweet than usual. BUt of coz who am i to complain when he is always ever so patient with me.

I must say he did put in effort into this proposal and i never could guess how he actually can find the time to get the ring and everything prepared. The whole process well how to put it...had me very touched. Let me try and pen this whole process down for future reference, though i already kept all his props that he had used for the proposal. =)

We arrived in Krabi on Thursday 22nd Mar around 6pm. It was quite a nerve wrecking touchdown. Was not sure what i ate but i had a major tummyache just as we were touching down. I rush down to the toilet the moment the air stewardess opened the cabin door. Anyways, V went to get us a cab after we cleared the customs. Cab fare was 600bht approx 25SGD.

Basically our itinerary was to stay in mainland- Ao Nang for 1 night before going to Railay Bay resort for the rest of our trip. A lot of places had been booked up so we managed to find a place call Blue Village off sawadee.com. It is quite a quaint little place with little huts all around, and it was about 10 mins walk from the main town.

After dumping our stuff and had a look through our little hut, we head towards town for dinner. Relaxing walk, hand in hand we were all ready to enjoy our little trip. It was nice. After walking around buying souvenirs mainly for MYSELF, we decided we got to eat. So we sat down at a little thai bbq place where we ordered some simple fare, and took some pictures.

Afterwhich, we continue walking around the beachfront and booked our tour for the rest of the 2 days that we were going to be in Krabi, bearing in mind that we will be moving to Railay the next day. We booked ourselves a day jungle tour + a day snorkeling at Phi Phi islands tour. Went back to Blue Village after booking our tours to rest for the next day of activities. At 12mn (my bday), V gave me 3 stalks of fake roses with 3 little notes attached to it. It was very simple and sweet. He told me that this trip was his gift to me, so he can only give me these simple roses. I was quite moved already, I mean how sweet is that. Anyway, was very tired I reckon from the night before (worked late).

Next morning when I woke up for the trip, I found another 6 roses beside me. All had little notes on it with more promises he would fulfill for me. I was like geez…what time did you get up to place the roses beside me. He wouldn’t tell me till date. Anyway off we go for the day trip, hiking round jungles and swimming in hot springs. It was nothing fantastic I thought. We went back to Ao Nang about 4pm. Had to get our luggage and head for a long tail boat that will bring us to Railay West where we will be staying for the rest of our trip.

It was getting dark with rain clouds approaching so we were hurrying for the boat to go faster. As we were making our way there, rain started coming down as little drizzle. So we were hoping to get to dry grounds before it poured. As usual, it does not happened the way you wanted, and the rain did POUR down before we head to dry grounds. We ran and ran once we were off the boat to a little café/ pub. It was quite depressing, running around with 2 big luggage especially for my dear V. I was alright since I just had to run. But he got to RUN with 2 big bags. I did offer to carry my own but he did not want me to.

In the end we just le-pak at the café till the rain went away. Basically stayed there till about 5pm where we finally could check ourselves to our hotel- Railay Bay resort and SPA. It was quite a nice hotel. After dumping our stuff, and giving me another 3 more roses, V dragged me out to go swimming. I was like no I would like to have a bath first. But he said no and dragged me out to the hotel bayside pool facing the lovely sea. I decided to just relak by the pool and perhaps get a chance to see the sun set since apparently you can see it from Railay. At about 530 or so he says, he asked me to go to the deck chair but I blatantly refuse as it was quite cold, and I was quite comfy inside the pool.
V decided to show me my final gift inside the pool. He came down with a little glass bottle with an anklet and another rose to wish me happy birthday. I was quite appalled by his taste of the anklet, though there was a star in it but it was absolutely hideous. But I did not tell him coz he was sweet enough to get me the gifts and everything else. Then he presented me with a bouquet of flowers with the line ‘Will you marry me?’ And he whipped out his ring and ask me again since I was speechless. I said yes and he slipped the slightly small ring into my left 4th finger.

After the proposal, V told me his original plan. The individual roses were supposed to represent each hour from 12mn onwards till the time he was supposed to propose to me at 5pm. That’s quite sweet right.

Anyway think this is a long enough post. I still got some piccies to share. I will put it in another post. Will let you see v’S PROPS to propose to me…. :)

Happy Belated Valentine Day!

WoW!! CNY and then you have V-day! The most dreaded and i say mindless day. Yet to some people out there it is just another excuse to get pressies or waste $$$. Geez i think i sound damm bitter with that statement.

Not coz V is not around, but more so i was immersing myself at work. Of coz me and V had agreed not to get each other gifts since we are going to Krabi during my birthday. And of coz secretly i tot if V will surprised me with Flowers. In the end i did get surprise. The surprise was having V asking if his parcel had arrived. And knowing that his gift did not arrive in time and was lost somewhere in custom perhaps.

So there i was on Vday working all alone, whilst the girls in my office were dolling away and getting flowers from their significant other.

Of coz the parcel came TODAY. And VIOLA when i open it. IT WAS A bouquet of fake flowers with little bears in it. It was sooooo pretty and sweeet. This definitely beats the real HUGE bouquet out there. Coz this is everlasting and looks very cute.

Can't believe i was there. Points to my title!!! YES I was one of the screaming fans that was at his recent concert. Took me a week to post the blog on that coz everything is still a blurr about me seeing him in the flesh.

Thanks for Angela, who thought of me when she had a free tix. Obviously my stint in office on Friday prior to the concert worked. Hahaha.... Thanks nevertheless. that concert completed my weekend for sure... an experience to always remember.

The whole concert was super fantastic. i mean from the opening sequence to his dance moves and who can forget that YUMMY Butt of his. OMG....am totally gushing myself silly here!! Attached are some clips and pictures of BI- RAIN!!!

BRAND NEW YEAR- 2007!

Wah..HAPPY NEW YEAR! So fast 2007 descend upon us in a flash! New Year eve and New year just whizzed past. This year I welcome 2007 at Zouk-Phuture with Kai, Elene & Trish + Elene group of buddies from States. Can’t say I enjoyed it as much as I would want to. I was in a reflective mood, while I saw heaps of strange faces at the club. Both young and old, cool and wannabes, ugly and the fambots!

I was thinking back to the time when I was out there clubbing hard with Stephanie and Cecilia- goal of the night was to get as many dudes’ mobile numbers. Can’t believed that almost 10 years had passed since those days. Still remember Danny and Malcolm, Conrad and Alex, and I think couple more which I can’t remember already. As the clock struck midnight, I stood there hugging almost everyone and feeling a tad awkward when I ran out of people to hug. I started to think back the different people that came through my life since the day when I started to have a life of my own.

From my poly days to the OUB days, where clubbing almost every other week with Lyon and company. I realized how true are all these friends. How many of these friends can I truly call in my time of need? I used to think I have many friends that I placed a lot of emphasis on. Many a times, I even choose them over my darling V.

Thinking back at that point when midnight struck and 2007 just came on. It dawned on me that how many of my so-called friends will be affected by me should something happened to me? I meant that question NOT in a bad way like something is going to happen to me. More of just questioning the fact of it all. Aside from V and my own family, who else value me? Where are my “HUAN NAN ZHI JIAO”?

When I was at Zouk dancefloor, and the strange faces being in front of me, I started thinking back what happened to those dudes? Bet they aren’t partying anymore but had moved on to finer things in life. Wish I knew what happened to them. I mean a part of me wish to know. Duhz. Anyway I don’t think I am going to club anytime soon. Am seriously too old for that, unless there are some eye-candies, else forget about it, Geez do not think I can get through another clubbing phase!!

By-gones… Enough of those melancholic shit!!! 2007 means another year of RENEWED faith that everything anew and fresh. Of coz who can forget about the dreaded RESOLUTIONS!!! What is mine- a question that V never fail to ask me for the past 6 years. With each year I always tell him the same. I set none and I accomplished all!! I want to be different this year, since I do feel that there is this energy being set out for me. Here goes:

1) Go for a medical checkup- FULL BODY CHECKUP
2) Exercise 2x a week, moving to 3x a week. FINAL COUNT- 4x a week
a. Options available – Jogging round my block, attend gym class, cycling
3) Change my thinking – get out of my comfort zone. Walk with HIM & V (SPIRITUALLY)
4) HONOUR MY PARENTS
5) SAVE MONEY!!!

Think that about covers what I want to do. Check back on Dec 31 2007 and see what is the update.

Romancing our relationship

This post is dedicated to my dearest V who had surprised me last week. He sent half a dozen sunflowers to my office out of the blue. Mainly to cheer me up since he knew i was feeling a tad stressed and down from work.

So there i was feeling stress over work when the receptionist came through the door with this lovely bouquet of sunflowers and a CARD!

The card had such loving words that i just had to thank my darling for sending it through. Thanks for being the romantic boyfriend who surprises me in the most unlikely way.

And of coz, though we did agree not to give X'mas gift, he still never fail to surprise me with a simple gift of affection. Giving me a pair of earrings. Thankfully i also had a little gift prepared. Though there wasn't a card. But i think being there and thanking you personally is good enough.

I can't think of anything else that i want than you. Thanks for being the way you are, and encouraging me when i am down. We will walk together with HIM and listen to his WORD.

Woah... been awhile since a proper blog about my thoughts. As 2006 draws to a close, which i think it had flew past pretty darn fast.

More about my thoughts in another post. Right now i just wanna talk about Child bearing. I was going through my own friendster and i realised a ex-colleague of mine just got pregnant again. Her little princess is like barely 9 months lor.

I think there should be a resting period for one's stomach or whatever it is. i mean it is a friggin baby that just popped out.

Anyway was also looking at some of my fren's baby piccies. I start to wonder, will one ever despise their own child coz they are ugly. I personally do not think i can stand it should my own kid turn out ugly. Some may say i am cruel and shallow, but i can't help it.

Kids are already troublesome as they are, it will makes it twice as painful when they are ugly. isn't it??

oh well guess i am rambling again. just some random thoughts that i wanna pen down.... will write more soon..especially year is coming to an end...am getting another farking year older.... dammmmmit...

WOW...so much fun since my last post.

Our company had our annual D&D last Friday and the best thing about this D&D is- it was held at a GAY BAR called MOX!!! It was definitely in line with our theme for the D&D- RETRO! The decor was very psychedelic and nice...attached are some of the piccies taken that nite!!

Yours truly got the BEST DRESSED alongside with my boss - Ray! Prize was 200bucks which about a hundred went to my Hair, Makeup + dress! Thank goodness i got a good deal for the dress i chose in the end.

Another highlight of the nite was RANDALL TAN!!! MY goodness he was so gorgeous, was trying hard not to pounce on him considering how cute he was. But of coz at the end of it all, the girlies all went in line to take pic with him. Poor him, he must have felt like an exhibit!! :)

6 years of loving

Well last month was my 6th years anniversary with Vincent.

Been a very tough year for us, given that he now resides in KL while yours truly resides in SG. Ever so proud that he is my man, even though he is a tad swollen right now due to all the good food and zzing in KL. Just want to say thanks to my DEAR V who had faithfully stand by me through these years, and for making the constant trips back to SG just to be with me.

I think we both now can look ahead now and looking forward to many years to come. But of coz not forgeting you are working hard to earn me my carats first, RIGHT!!! hahaha....

oh well, carats aside. This anniversary was very special coz V actually SURPRISED me. I know he ain't exactly like to surprise me coz i always put him down since i got so much expectations. But this time, he truly surprise me with a COUPLE SPA at this very cosy place.

The place was very balinese and people were very warm towards us. We had our own little room and our spa bath. So shiok that i fell asleep during the massage....niceeee.... and of coz what is anniversary without flowers. He got flowers in his car just to surprise me. A bunch of LILIES... though i was expecting roses. STILL LILIES were just as lovely...

So was up in KL for a whirlwind 4 days 3 nights, where i got to hang out with his cell mates, played pictionary, did abit of shopping (got 3 pairs of shoes), ate alot, din zzz alot. Think thats it.

Will attached some piccies for your viewing pleasure...since i think my blog getting a tad boring due to the lack of piccies. And truly think the korean youtube are driving people quite mad...though that is still my true passion.... :)
