Self Photoshoot at Haji Lane - Happening...

This got to be the most boliao blog. Last night we had a mediacorp private drinks session at Bali Lane.

As the night drew to a close and we started leaving the place. Me, Russ & Eve decided to go down to Haji lane to wait for a cab thinking the main road be much faster. Much to our frustration, no cabs. So in the end me and Eve started calling cabs.

Dear Russ be the side started the whole snap happy. So here is the results of our im-promptu photoshoot at Haji Lane last nite. Trust me alot of people were giving the 3 of us weird stares during the whole 20 to 30 mins.

For somemore shots, pls check out my facebook. ;P

the blog about nothing and everything...

Woah...been awhile since my piccies post. Well nothing much been happening except dealing with crap clients at work and pigging out way too much.

New year new me, how easy to lip-service that. So easy to say the simple 4 words but takes loads of discipline to carry it out.

Oh heard that one of my colleague who just got married in Oct is actually pregnant for almost 3 months liao which means it almost one time home-run kind of pregnancy. What are the odds right? I mean here you are just done with the hassle of getting married and almost immediately more adjustments required to welcome another new life into your current new life? Woah...just that thought for me seems hard to swollow. Being a parent, no joke. Am i ready to embrace a new life other than Vincent? Just a random thought that struck my head. hiak

I wonder as one age do they distant themselves?? Juggling work, family, friends where does that leave 'ME' time? As friends start settling down and leading their own busy lives, what happened to the impromptu kopi gatherings and karaoke? As we all deal with our own miserable insecurities, what is left for us to grapple the tons of responsibilities. I wonder...

Oh past weeks been busy catching this romance kdrama called 'The Coffee Prince'. It is soooo nice can. some youtube videos for your pleasure. I am totally in the reel world of Coffee Prince.... dreaming dreaming..... for that like-minded someone...

Langkawi trip in - 19 to 21 Dec

Hey hey...am on the roll here.

Recent trip to KL where my darling hubby brought me to Langkawi via Air Asia since i had mentioned many times that i had not been on a plane for the longest time. Wow soooo sweet of him...

Anyway the trip was good for us since i had never been to Langkawi. Something different. Simple serene place, very laid back i thought.

Not much to say except look at the piccies. Taken by my trusted hp! Kool eh... :)

Welcoming Mr and Mrs Bernard TAN

Wow...My bro officially got married on Satty to his gf (my DA-SAO)!!! WOw to some of my closer friends will know how just a few years ago i was desperately promoting my bro as he was still a swinging bachelor.

But fate and love work in amazing ways, before you know it in the space of 2.5 years, he got himeself a loving wife. Though i do not know my Da-Sao that well yet, but she seems an ok chick! My age and earning big bucks like my bro.

heee... well anyway ROM was the same place - My sis condo. Me and V felt like deja-vu all over again! Was alrite event except most guests seem pretty old compared to mine! hahah...guess thats when age gap come into play.

kekeke...well anyway din take much pics except these with my BRAND NEW CANON IXUS 75!! ooooh...heheh

k enjoy...

the online KTV post

Ok..What have I been up to lately? I have been searching Youtube for latest karaoke songs that i can learn. And again Youtube never ceases to amaze me on the amount of junk one can find.

This post shall be dedicated to some of the songs that i am addicted to... and had been practising hard. :)

Enjoy...

OMG- It had been a WEEK into 2008!!!

Drums PLS! Usual the very first blog of the year. Gosh been that many years...almost 29 years liao. As for this blog, its been almost 3 years since the first post in August. How i had grown through the 3 years, can almost see the ADULT click somewhere in the midst of all the blogs that i had written. Sound soooooo old can... haiz...

Just looking at 2007 blogs, friendster & facebook, i must say it was an eventful year. Save for the fact that i GOT PROPOSED & MARRIED, other things like work, new friends, start to exercise routine. With the actual date of the wedding set for 25 Oct 2008, alot more exciting things to come.

It is with a mixture of excitment and dread that i am anticipating the wedding preps. Not to mention we will also need to start thinking about renovating 'VNA humble abode'. So much things that i WANT but only so much things budget will allow. So decisions decisions...

2007 saw me struggling with work and also friends. I realised due to work, it had driven my friends away. I feel cut-off from my frens (sometimes), sometimes i totally hate work. Everything irritates the hell out of me (am sure its not just ME, tyvm). I sincerely wish 2008 will allow me to catch up more with frens and to treasure these fragile relationships.

2007 saw most of my gfs kena proposed and also getting pregnant. I am definitely happy for them. Even my bro also getting married. Can you believe it? YES MY NERDY BRO- Bernard Tan. Well i definitely wish them the bestest... How cool is that? :)

Shall not named my resolutions yet since i had not made any... But i have to go get a friggin license. can anyone who read this constantly remind me especially when you see me? So that i get a moving on this. V will be very very happy.

Oh one more thing, 2007 saw me and V hitting another year with our relationship and yet able to still stay loving. This is beside the point he is not even in SG. I Love him for faithfully taking the time to come back to SG to be with me. From getting our flat till hunting for the perfect venue, he always make a point to come back to ME. THATS WHY HE IS MY HUBBY!!! Coz as what he always says - I LOVE YOU!

Think this post is mushy as it is... will post some piccies up soon. Alternatively can check out my facebook for the piccies. :)

MERRY NEW YEAR to all my faithful readers, dunno who you are but do drop a comment or 2 whenever you can!

Pictures Pictures...MORE PICs!

Some of the pictures i have been taking at some company pictures....

Adding some colour to my blog....

Venues Venues--- Addy in a dilemma!!

The Beaufort- What i missed.

SCC - Outdoor ceremony

SCC Banquet - Unblock view too.. hmm

Raffles Marina - Banquet. Unblock room
Raffles Marina- Outdoor Lawn area

Woah..been a while since i written about anything. Well i have been busy. Usual frenziness to close the year well. Office life been a real bitch... not helping when the resentment towards management seems to be on the high side. Well thats work.

Personally i have also been trying to organise possible places i can hold my wedding next year. Gosh it is a nightmare since V ain't around half the time. Well no excuses but coordinating is SUCH pain i swear. Balancing good venues within budget ain't easy, wants and needs are also sooo hard.
Well since Chjimes ain't available, we wanted to confirm Beaufort aka THE SENTOSA. However final meeting with wedding planner made the whole meeting quite sucky. She was very unwilling to help and V says he din feel a connection with her. So not happy to let her earn the commission. So off we go again to recce 'OUTDOOR UNIQUE wedding venues!!'.

So last Satty, we went to Seletar Country club (SCC) and Raffles Marina (RM) to check it out. Both wedding planners are very nice and helpful. Hence am not torn between the two places. Will post some pics of the venue and my faithful readers can help me decide.

start of a glooomy week... :(

RM is slightly expensive BUT still affordable. Only difference is that i can have my march in via a private yacht. So it will be something different as compared to SCC. SCC is new to the wedding biz, but they are very accommadating in giving other perks.

So now very torn torn...here are the piccies of both venues!!

Life is so fragile to be wasted on petty overly sensitive people...

this post is dedicated to Ian's Bro - Colin who passed away suddenly. I will be keeping him and his family in my prayers. Pray sincerely for strength and renewed faith that Colin is in His loving arms.

On another note, been feeling overly frustrated by things i heard at work. On one hand i feel like an ingrate, on the other hand i just want to go ahead and bitch abouy my work. Been almost 3 years since i had started in this industry. So much i had encountered that it actually felt alot longer than 3 years. Called me jaded or negative, i am sick of what i am doing. The endless pretence for my clients and even towards my own boss is stifling me.

Colleagues are really great but its the management that is getting to me. Only thing holding me back from moving on is fear of being labelled an ingrate. Ingrate for turning my back towards something that was fought on my behalf. Am i fated not to stay in a job for more than 1.5 years?? Whats wrong with me?

Recent spate of events leading to the frustration and disgust for the management. So hard to draw a line, when is she a friend & when is she a BOSS? To her perhaps there is a distinction, but to me she will always be the BOSS. WHY? Coz as boss she can be unreasonable and say whatever that she wants, she can clearly defend her favourites and write weird emails. Who am i to say otherwise? For i am just an executive, to HER its always either am too lazy or am just cruising. Nothing else matters.

Even a simple plate of chicken comments, she got angry and stomp off. Who had to eat the damm 2nd order of Chicken?? Whats wrong with HER? Had she gone wonkers? She had i am sure. The title had all gone to their head. So much so that it had cloud their sense of empathy for other people' suffering.

haiz..just another blog where i want to rant and rave... pls ignore if you do not get this... not for your understanding. Purely something i wrote to get it off my damm chest.

Frustrated Addy..urgh...

Whatsup with Addy?

OMG… Nov 25 already. The year is drawing to a close. Been a LONG while since my last blog. Been feeling lazy and uninspired for the longest time, did not know what else to put on my blog.

Reading people’ blog seem so fun but my blog seem kind of dull. Does it mean I am dull? Is Addy DULL?? Will someone SAY NO TO THAT PLS!!

Oh well, the HAI are all finally officially married. Last one- Dearest SOH and Jansen finally tied the knot on 17 November 2007 at The Merchant Court. Nice simple affair with great buffet I must say. Ah Soh looked fabelicoious after the months of dieting and slimming massages. All is worth it when she wore the gown and looked so pretty. Well guess that’s why they say ALL BRIDES ARE SPECIAL AND BEAUTIFUL!!! I say we HAI ROCKS!!! Will go put up a pic of all our ROM pics once I get them.

Left with Lynette’s wedding which will be next year together with her wedding dinner which I think I probably missed it as it is too closed to my OWN wedding. WOW…imagine me saying that – MY OWN WEDDING!!! I mean I know I am officially married but to keep on telling myself that still seems surreal.

One more month to X’mas, I have to start my X’mas shopping real soon. This year will be very stretch for me as I have a lot MORE financial commitment. I AM A REAL GROWN UP with debts and commitments. Haiz… With wedding and renovations coming up in 2008, somehow I dread having to think how are we going to pay off everything.

Oh well, next wedding coming up is Hoon and Andrew on 15th Dec 07. We will be having her Hen’s nite on 8th Dec. That will be something to look forward to, afterwhich they will be zooming to Maldives for their honeymoon. Niceee eh…so happy for her. To finally find the man of her dreams and settling down.

I think I have written enough. Not too sure what else I have to write. Some pictures of my recent trip to KL where my darling hubby brought me to Port Dickson. Plus I also attended the wedding of Steven (V’s Australia mate).

Yawnz….

Just a random post...

Wah… been awhile since I updated my blog. Least since my ROM on Sep 15. Firstly not that I was lazy but coz I had been plagued by sickness since my ROM. Yes you are right. Don’t know whether suay or lucky, after my ROM I kena swollen eyes, viral fever, basically sick like never before. Thank goodness all is over and I am finally on the road to recovery. My voice still abit nasal but otherwise I am all good.

Gosh, just attended 2 weddings this weekend. One is my dear ex-ibm colleague – Val & Henry, the other is my current colleague – Vivien & Vernon. So zun hor both Vs. Hahah….just some random similarities I noticed. So happy for my getting married friends.

Seeing them getting married and preparing for their own wedding set me thinking about my own. After my ROM, naturally the next step is to think of the actual wedding which I had already set on the date – Oct 25, 2008. Now am just dragging my feet to settle the venue. Why can’t I settle the damm venue I ask myself many times? Thought me and V had kind of settled for Chjimes, BUT BUT I still thought of a nice outdoor wedding after watching Chuck a and Larry the movie. The last part of the outdoor wedding and dance is the kind of wedding I like. Though how much can Singaporeans take such simple wedding is another question I don’t know how to answer.

I mean honestly sometimes I think venue and ambience can be superb but if your audience is not sporting then also can’t be helped. But nevertheless I think coz mine has no relatives, so I thought perhaps I can have it abit wild and different. I thought having couples dancing will be quite nice, perhaps even karaoke will be good (I mean tastefully done karaoke!). Oh well, how does one start preparing for a damm wedding? Like so much work, wish I can have mine in nice little Bali with close friends against a setting sun by the beach…. Guess that will be ultimate?? Yes/ No?? hahaha…

Well shall go ponder somemore about what I want and discuss with my hubby!!! By the way in case people been wondering, so how is married life? No difference to me coz my dear Vincent ain’t in Singapore. He is still working in KL, and YES he is exploring options to come back to his dear wifey in Singapore coz he can’t bear to be away from me!!! Bwahahaah… dohz…

K …enough crap for tonite… till the next post… …

Introducing Mr & Mrs Ng..Goodbye Miss Tan

Wow...Thank YOU all my friends and buddies. Can't thank you all enough for taking time to come for our very simple ROM at my sis place (even in the midst of the WRONG address). OOps..i know. My sincere apologies.

Nevertheless the DAY finally arrived - September 15, 2007. Though a little bit of worrying initially when it rained, the sun finally peeked through around 12noon. Guests arrived slowly but surely due to my little hiccup on the address.

(Honestly i thought people will usually research in advance on how to get to a place, NO MEH??) Anyway i know...it was my BIG BOO BOO.

The simple decor was nice enough with my korean music in the background. Am contended and happy that so many people came by to share our joy.

Here are some piccies i thought i shall post for your enjoyment... ;P

2 MORE DAYs- Sep 15

Wow...last blog before Sep 15 i think.

This should be what the past few months prep lead to. Even as much as i keep telling myself that this is a SIMPLE ROM. Somehow still there will be bouts of nervousness and even panic when you have so many friends that just casually asked you 'So how- all SET?'

Honestly i don't know what to say except whatever i can prepare i had done it. The rest of play by ear on day itself. Leave onto HIS loving hands to bless us with whatever we would have wanted.

Collected the certs and also the dress today. Open my house too. So much things that signify more responsibilities and the venture towards the next phase of my life. We are all creatures of habit, to some unknown could be adventurous, to other unknown could be scary. I do not know what future holds for me, but i know for sure there is a mate and friend walking side by side with me.

Last blog as Miss Tan. Not quite sure what is the feeling as yet, but definitely excited and happy. A step that took us a long 7 years to finally commit.

What i would do during the actual ceremony next year? Will i cry since everyone says actual ceremony is very emotional? I am a cynical and bitter person i once hear someone told me. Perhaps. But everlasting positivity do not exist. One can only put your faith and beliefs on something to sustain that. Right?

Well probably do not make sense. But hey my BLOG.

Very BIG thanks i want to say to some of the faithful BTBs who had been with me throughout the entire journey so far... you all know who you are. Especially to Iris... thanks for this Satty.

Alrite...3 cheers to MISS Addy TAN soon - to - be MRS NG come Sep 15! ;P

Heroes ZOOM into SG

My last post on non-wedding stuff. Sorry for the lack of posting for the past weeks. Had been totally uninspired after the last post. Too much happening till i don't know where to start. Anyway thats for another post to update. :)

*Points to my nick*

You are RIGHT, i was THERE witnessing 4 of the HEROES in SG! Thanks to my lovely boss who gave me the invite very last minute for me to go. SO there i was a tad under-dress (event dresscode was formal), i still press-on and went ahead with my colleague, Michelle. I felt so happy. Will attached piccies for your viewing pleasure.

Well the gala dinner was held at four seasons hotel and of coz dress code had to be formal. Pat (my boss) told me to just throw a shawl to my simple get-up. Thank goodness for Ray vietnam - indian looking shawl that saved the day. Armed with that i went to the dinner.

Moment we arrived, we saw many people holding their champagne and chatting away. In my mind i was only focusing from one thing aside from food. When we were finally sitted, i was so glad that we were right smack beside the stage. Hence we got a super view of the heroes. AIN'T IT AWESOME!!!

Anyway when the heroes came out, i was just starstruck literally. The cast were fantastic, and looking dashing. Even the boring Mohinder looks YUMMY!!!But the most cute was HIRO-san aka MASI OKA!! He was sooooo obliging to take pictures and do autograph. Gosh i can't even begin to start talking about it.

anyway, think pictures speak louder than words... here goes...

enjoy...

Preferential treatment

Preferential treatment. Do you ever feel there was preferential treatment being given at any occasions? Say between boss and yourself, waiters and yourself, friends and yourself, family and yourself, member of the public and yourself?

Do you question yourself why are there preferential treatment? Are you bothered like I am? Nothing in particular, just that a colleague of mine was griping to me about boss favouring someone in the office. Similarly I encounter the same thing elsewhere.

I feel preferential treatments come about when people expect something out of nothing. And when that something do not deliver, that is when we or least I will get disappointed. Of coz boss can favour someone, coz he/ she is simply THE BOSS. Who are we to determine who to give priority to?

Same goes for the friends and families, sometimes just because you have a false sense of closeness, you expect certain things. In the end if that something do not come true, you feel a sense of discouragement like you ain’t good enough as a friend or family member. Hmm…wonder wonder…

Anyway,.,. That was just my observation around at times…

Yawnz,…k pretty late. Shall stop my griping here. Enough.. move along now… L

***Btw I think I will have 3 consecutive posts without mentioning about wedding and marriage. Now is the 2nd post.

Evan Almighty thought about G

Enough of ROM/ wedding updates. Shall not bore you all with the boring details.

A thoughtful post.

Today i went to watch EVAN ALMIGHTY with Trish. Thought it would be your normal typical comedy show. However strangely the show shruck a cord with me. I mean my friends will know me as someone who just takes whatever good things that come, i mean honestly the more the merrier. That is me. Well here goes...

The show talks about GOD asking Evan (Steve Carrell of 40 year old virgin fame) to build an ark. He showed him in Gen 6:14 (which in order to understand this verse completely you will need to read from Gen 6:13 to 22). Before this episode, Evan was a clean and selfish freak. He had neglected his family in order to be congressman and his slogan was 'Change the World'. So one day his family had decided to pray to God asking of certain things. His wife actually asked him what did he pray for? He could not answer, though he did pray in the end quietly in the middle of the night. He prayed that God will show him the way to 'Change the World.'

Subsequently God (Morgan Freeman) appeared before him and ask him to build an ARK. Being a freak that he was and facing the need to excel in his new role as congressman, he could not take it of coz. Friends and family started to see him as a weirdo or congressman gone mad. They all left him alone. This was the part that struck me. God actually appeared before his wife giving her advice since she was obviously feeling low that her husband had gone mad, building an ark in the middle of 21 century. God told her that when one prayed for a courage, do God give the person courage straight away or allow the person opportunities to display acts of courage?

At that point, the sentence was very poignant for me. I had been asking God to give me faith and also give me wisdom. I realized that he had been giving me various opportunities at my workplace to display my moments of wisdom. I had doubted HIS existence coz I had never felt HIM. I had think that HE was fake, or that I am just weird for not able to feel his existence.

Though till date I can’t say I feel his actual presence, but I think HE is definitely there. And like the show depicted, HE loved all of us before we know and love him.

One more thing from the show - Way to Change the World is by doing Acts of Random Kindness (ARK) one at a time.

Amen.

Addy's happenings...

It is bloody 1.30am and I have a swollen left eye. What can I write about? Plenty I say, but what do I CHOOSE to write about?

So far things had been well or so I like to believe. Work-wise continues to be frustrating at times when sudden bouts of depression and laziness threatened to overcome me. Why does it happen to me? Does no one else gets it, or is it only ME? I see my dear V getting all hyped up about work makes me ponder- AM I NORMAL?

Love-wise I can’t ask for a better partner that I want to be with. I just came back from a short National Day weekend trip to KL. Though we had a little setback with some loser, we are still good. Had a great time disturbing my darling’s KL life, and eating yummy food.

Wedding preps are a little crappy now coz I am a tad lost on what to do. Basically ROM is like settled, but what about actual day next year. Just settling a damm date makes it soooo frustrating. I am torn between wanting a good date and just settling for ANY dates. I mean honestly I should not be bother by these coz HE would have already blessed us. MY TAKE IS MORE BLESSING THE BETTER. Right? Not to worry blessings come from which side. Any good blessings I TAKE anytime. So now I am abit lost. What do I want for a wedding? I mean it is once a lifetime. Do I want to go the traditional way (which is the money sucking wedding dinner kind) or a non-traditional simple way (buffet and informal)?

I have many thoughts but I kind of think I will take the latter option. Have the morning RA-RA and tea ceremony. Take a few pictures, set off for my church ceremony and then buffet and MORE photo-taking. Next day, off to Batu Pahat for wedding luncheon for the Msian folks. I wish I can have the luncheon at KL instead. But NO my dear V wants it in BP though by then his parents will be nearer to KL. So now I think most probably I will have a simple luncheon at some CHEENA restaurant in BP. How UNEXCITING… Well that is what I have in mind, been thinking for past week. Will discuss with V when time I nearer. Hmm….

My bro impending wedding is also making my parents super kan cheong, YES YOU HEARD RIGHT!! MY nerd bro – BERNARD TAN is getting married to his girlfriend, Claire. Anyway I had asked him to NOT kajiao my date- October 25, 2008. So no way he can ask me to shift my dates.

Friend- wise, been awhile since I caught up with the girlies. Caught up with Yang and Ping last week, had a great time reminiscing about our secondary school days. So much fun back then, and of coz trying to find out what some of our classmates are up to. Am not surprise a lot of them seem to be married with kids in tow already. I mean what is up with these people, do they really like parent-hood soooooo much. Bbrrrrr….sorry I still can’t bear to think, though I probably should be thinking about it. hahaha…worry when time comes. Within the girlies, we have another BTB coming up and boy she is super fast than me. I admired her decisiveness in making all decisions. H – you go GIRL!!! \

Still going strong in my cardio mix class, though I had skipped at least 4 to 5 sessions but still good. Will continue with it, and in additional I signed another massage thingy. Apparently I am too gas-sy, hence the tummy bulge. So aside from curbing my carbo intake, I will be going for massage + hot blanket to bring down the damm bulge. Hope the massage can rub away those damm gas. Hahaha….

Shit my eye don’t seem to be letting up. Dammit, tomorrow better go see a doc. Hopefully it will subside by morning.

Yawnz…zzzz time…laterz…

Embarking on the first step towards commitment...

Hey I realized with this new look, does it not look like a wedding blog. I mean all nice and pretty pink… haha…just a mindless thought there.

K, back to my BLOG title.

Gosh I just signed my life away on Satty with Vincent. We confirmed our house with HDB. Had our very first appointment with the officer and guess what. It had to fork out $800 bucks for the damm house after deleting all the loans and CPF deductions.

What can I do with $800?

1) Go to HK – visit Jan and my Bro? Even include shopping…
2) Last minute dash before GSS 07 is over
3) Nice dinner?
4) Quick getaway with V to some islands say BALI. I like that.
5) Consider another Tokyo trip perhaps? Hmm…maybe not.
6) Buy a nice LV wallet that I have been eyeing
7) Buy a nice watch??
8) Buy something diamond for myself??
9) Go into my Getting-Married fund?? Last resort

Haiz…well reality of it all. Responsibilities and financial burdens amounting. I don’t want to grow up and deal with this. But what can I do. I can’t fight age. :(

Funny pic above...Emily the Strange somewhat- balancing so many things

Marriageable age...

Month of the weddings. I have 4 weddings to attend in the month of July. Every weekend I have a wedding.

I mean I am at the age where many girls start getting married. BUT of coz there are the single friends and those who are attached with no marriage in sight. Does one get pressured to get married just coz left right center you are getting wedding invitations to all other wedding except your own?

Do one start to question the validity of oneself? Wait a minute… what about those that get married when the feeling is RIGHT? There comes the age-old question- how do you know HE is the one for you? Many people just say ‘You will know when the time comes’. One can’t help but wonder do you just settle coz ‘oh we have been together long enough, lets move along. Don’t waste time liao.’ OR ‘You are the MAN for me, I am REALLY feeling it.’

It took me almost 7 years to decide it is time to take the plunge. It is a huge step I say. HUGE commitment. I mean I can’t believe it sometimes coz just a couple years back I could not even see myself walking down the aisle coz obviously I like to think I have a whole life spread out for me to enjoy. Isn’t that a funny and weird thought. Hmmm…..

As the wheels of age starts creeping in, I get lethargic, the occasional bouts of depression and somewhat jaded about life. I question what will happen to me if V did not come along. Will I be lingering around aimless and jaded? Who will be the man of my dreams? Seeing my gfs starting to all get hitched. I am both happy and also somewhat apprehensive. Who can promise everlasting love and marriage? Just as there are 100 successful marriages, there are also 100 failures. I see people who had been together for 10 years where in the end it ended with 3 words – Let us breakup.

The irony of it all coming from someone who is loved by her very own man… Thank you my dear for always being there for me and with me….

Shucks I have to wake up in approx 3 hrs….good luck to me…end of post…i say...

the trouble with blogs

Faithful readers or so i thought maybe wondering what is up with me these days...

I think my blog been kind of messy these days. I have been trying to change the damm template. Like a techno whiz, I wanted to try my hand at changing the damm blog template only to end up with half f**k misalignment. Anyway all is good now, am back at good old blog template. *Yawnzz*

Nevertheless I will still try my best to change to a template soon as long as I can figure out all the damm html codes.

Geez…clueless Addy…

heee...a bo liao pics i took with V while on the bus home!!!

Spring cleaning...

Wah...new look. Not bad right??? well not as good as i want it to be. But hey for a technology laggard like me...well not bad. So no complains...

Anyway, Pink is a tad unlike me but there wasn't any red. So this was the closest one i could find. In addition, added countdown ticker (abit seng eh/ distorted) to my ROM which is probably the biggest thing happening in my life now.

What else is happening?

1) Bought aircon for my parents
2) Confirm the caterer for the ROM
3) Confirm my MUA
4) Confirm my BS
5) Got my on-off swollen eye checked out
6) TBA when i can think of....

damm hot...last nite of the air-conless..tmrw BRAND NEW AIR CON!!! HUrray to that!!! another day closer .... :)

T O K Y O post

Closest to Mount Fuji i ever got- a downloaded pic from Internet (how sad)

Well totally clueless supposed post. Been almost a month since the last post in May. Prior to that I had a few things happening. With our new house just firmed in May, so June I had to source for bridal studio and also go for my company incentive trip to TOKYO. YES you saw it correctly – T O K Y O!!!!woooohooo….land of the rising sun man!!!

Pictures are mainly in office now, so will upload a few when I get a chance in between work.

Can’t say that I managed to do all things that I want in Tokyo, but I guess within the given time – good enough. Wish I could have stayed one more day, wonder when will I go back there again. Think I like to travel alone, least I derive more satisfaction traveling by myself. Am I a loner? Am I an anti-social? Maybe I am or perhaps I just had not find a like-minded soul?

K, cut to the chase below is a list of things that I did & did not do when I was in Tokyo… heee

Post proposal preps...VNA lovenest...

Damm blog site. Did not realise that i post a blank blog on May 21. Geez.... well anyway lucky i type it out in word...so still got that copy...

Here it goes...

What it should have been on May 21, 07...

Wow, been awhile since my last happy posts about my proposal. Been almost 3 months, since my dear V had proposed to me at the lovely pool of Krabi. So much and so little had happened since, that I do not even know where to start.

Anyway let me just say how happy I am that the members of the HAI group all got proposed shortly after me. So happy that all of them all said YES to their respective other halves. I mean isn’t it fabulous that you have all your good buddies getting married around the same time. I feel so blessed suddenly to have all these great friends around me.

Since the beaches of Krabi till date, we had started looking for flats, set the date for ROM (September 15, 2007), sourced for bridal studios, so many things so little time suddenly…

As of last Friday- 18 May, we finally found our love nest right in Admiralty. Address – Blk 787C, Woodlands Crescent, #05-48, Singapore 733787. We managed to get it at valuation – meaning no extra cash needed. Value of the 122sqm house is at $270k, and everything will be paid through our CPF. So next step, will be sourcing for Bridal Studio.

Looking at my situation of having 2 wedding receptions, I will be doing in JB. Can save costs and yet the effect is about the same if not better. Only thing is that it will be a hassle traveling up and down for the fittings.

Woah…taking a breather this weekend was soooo good. Finally no more tedious house hunting. I can look forward to my company TOKYO trip on the 30 May. Yipppeeeee…. And of coz that looming Athens trip that I wish I can take.

Well anyway …that is the update for now. Would like to continue relaxing and get ready for the dreaded Monday.

Yawnz… J

Well been long overdue. Almost a month since V proposed to me in Krabi. Back to reality and work, still think about the lovely times we had there. There was some depressed moments post-trip!
